Job Description

A Day in the Life

The Warehouse Operator works with the Warehouse Lead to ensure that all customer orders are prepared and shipped accurately. They ensure that the shipping and receiving of deliveries and pickups is done in an expedient and efficient manner.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Shipping and receiving duties (Verifying inbound and outbound shipments, trailer load/offload)
  • Assist Production Team with can supply preparation based on schedule
  • Prepare upcoming shipments and ensure accuracy
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse and surrounding areas (loading dock etc)
  • Stack, wrap and band pallets
  • Process relevant paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Completion of Secondary School
  • Level 1 First Aid Certification, or willing to get
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Able to work independently and effectively with a team
  • Respond well to deadlines and constructively handles pressure
  • Ability to carry and lift up to 50lbs and stand for extended periods of time
  • Experience in a shipping, receiving, logistics or similar role is an asset
