POSITION
A Warehouse Manager position has now become available due to employee retirement.
Oversee the full operations of the Warehouse
Manage and lead the warehouse team
Coordinate all deliveries nationally under Client's shipping account
Provide info to accounts for invoicing
Liaising with suppliers and transport companies
Purchasing or issuing from stocks, any required components and materials for Projects
Maintaining stock on hand requirements.
Planning, coordinating and monitoring the receipt and dispatch of goods;
Using space and mechanical handling equipment efficiently making sure quality & budgetary targets are met;
Logging all activities and reports into the company CRM System
Responding to and communicating with staff by email and telephone
Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are accurate;
Monitoring staff performance and progress
Reporting of stock levels against allocated budgets.
Motivating, organising and encouraging teamwork within the workforce to ensure productivity targets are met or exceeded
Briefing team members on a daily basis

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
To be considered for this position it is vital that you have the below experience:
Proven track record of any Warehouse Management type of role of ANY Background: Furniture, Textiles, Lighting, Carpet, Bathroom, Electrical, Industrial, Construction etc ALL are welcome and encouraged to apply
Prior experience as a Storeman / Warehouse Assistant would be highly desirable
Proficient with CRM systems and other Computer Systems such as Outlook, Microsoft Excel etc
Excellent communication skills in both verbal and written
To be highly organised and possess great time management skills
Have the ability to effectively operate a warehouse, coaching and rostering staff, lead and motivated an enthusiastic team
Must be motivated and have a great eye for detail
Experience checking delivery sheets
Effective, timely and accurate distribution of goods in and out of our warehouse, including loading of trucks
A strong commitment to WH&S policies and procedures
Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
