We are located in Petersburg, Ontario and we’re looking for a Dock worker to join our growing team.

Main responsibilities;

• Unpacking / Emptying trailers by hand and with Forklift

• Complete the product receipt form
• Inspects the products and reports any anomalies (presence of meat products, non-food products) to the Quality Assurance Director or immediate superior.
• Unpack the merchandise according to the established procedures and methods and dispose in the appropriate places.
• Data recording; including daily activity sheet.
• Carry out the loading of trucks & customers in the warehouse according to the established procedure.
• Maintenance / Cleanliness of the workspace is a priority.

• Clean and maintain the outside of the warehouse according to established methods and routines.

Qualifications:

• Good dexterity, manual skills, & able to lift up to 30lbs
• Proactive and versatile.
• Must be able to work well independently with a good sense of observation, planning, & organization
• 1- 2 years experience in a similar position.
• High School Completed
