East Penn Canada is currently hiring Warehouse Assistant to join our operations team at our brand new, state-of-the-art facility, located in Courtice.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Primarily working on finishing line to label product to customer specifications
• May also:
• Sort, mark & place items in shelves or bins
• Read pick lists & ship orders to assemble, label, wrap & place customer orders on pallets and / or delivery trucks
• Assist Company Drivers / Sales Representatives / customers in loading & unloading trucks or both new product and scrap
• Actively participating in good housekeeping & maintaining a well-organized workplace

Experience, Skills & Competencies:

• Accuracy, attention to detail is critical in picking, shipping product by code
• Must be willing and able to safely and frequently lift and/or move boxes up to 40 lbs. regularly lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.
• Good communication skills (listening to and following instructions)
• Understands the importance of, and adheres to, all health and safety protocols
