The Ward Administrator role is responsible for providing timely and effective administrative and reception services to support the operational needs of the second floor ward.
This is a fixed-term role offered at 0.8FTE or 32 hours per week role to be worked Tuesday to Friday from 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm.
This role is a fixed term role to provide maternity leave cover.
The hours of work will increase to 40 hours per week following completion of additional theatre capacity (scheduled for 2023) or once the ward is fully operational at 22 beds over a five day working week.

Skills and Experience :
To be eligible for employment at Mercy Hospital Dunedin, applicants must have received all COVID 19 vaccinations and subsequent booster, or have an exemption from the Ministry of Health.
Proof of this will be required and conditional to employment, as per the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) order 2021.
