The Role

We are looking for a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join our team. The role will involve consulting and operating duties shared with 5 other vets. This role would be suitable for a new graduate as we have experienced vets to provide support or a Vet that can bring a wealth of experience to the role. This is a full time position working 4 days a week from 8.30am until 6.30 or 7pm with 1 in 4 weekends, Saturday until lunchtime and 1 hour on Sundays with cover for our cattery but no out of hours.

About Us

We have a main branch with ample car parking and a smaller consulting only branch with a cattery attached. We are well equipped with digital radiography and dental radiography, ultrasound and video endoscopy. We are surrounded by sandy beaches and close to ferries and train for Europe but still within reasonable distance to London.

Our friendly team is made up of 5.5 Veterinary Surgeons, 5 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 3 student nurses, 7 support (including the best practice manager) and 2 cattery staff. We have certificate holders in Anesthesia, Surgery and 2 studying for certificates in Imaging and Surgery. One of our vets with a surgery certificate has an interest in orthopedics and is doing TPLOs.
