A flexible opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our Shawbirch practice in Telford, Shropshire. We are keen to hear from candidates looking for part time or full time hours. Part time could be a variety of mornings and afternoons or a reduced number of full days, or a combination of the two.

This is a small practice in a small community situated in a lovely residential area. The practice has a very pleasant and loyal client base with high pet health plan membership. The clinic works together closely with our Oakengates practice. You will be able to take cases to Oakengates where there is a supportive team including an experienced Branch Partner. We are looking for an experienced vet who is comfortable working sole charge and able to provide a high level of patient care and client satisfaction. The hours can be discussed and can be flexible to suit the right candidate.

Weekday shifts can be discussed. The weekend pattern would be a 1/3 Saturdays at the Oakengates branch seeing both Shawbirch and Oakengates clients. For a part time role the frequency would be reduced accordingly.

Skills and experience:

You must be a veterinary surgeon registered with the RCVS.

Branch:

The practice has a good sized waiting area, consult room, prep room, theatre and facilities such as in house lab. Shawbirch has a small friendly supportive team.

Routine procedures, minor operations and dentistry would be done from the surgery with larger surgical or more complicated medical cases going to the Oakengates practice which you would be able to perform should you want to. We also have access to CT at our 24 hour Shrewsbury branch who also cover the OOHs.
