Veterinary Surgeon, Hospital role with Soft Tissue Case Load required at Myerscough Veterinary Group, Clayton Le Dale (Main)
The Role
We are currently looking for a Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team at our practice Myerscough Veterinary Group in Clayton Le Dale. This is a full-time role working 40 hours per week over 4 days Monday to Friday.
We have various shift patterns between the hours of 8am and 7pm. This role will include working 1 in 4 weekends predominantly Saturday 8am – 6pm but there may be the occasional Sunday required. There will be the need for occasional night working but we do not foresee this being that often. We would be happy to consider fewer working hours for the right candidate and can be flexible to reach a suitable agreement that works for the practice and candidate.
This role is based in a busy emergency hospital that sees first opinion and referral cases. You will be responsible for inpatient care, emergency triage, some GP work is required, and we would like someone to develop the soft tissue surgery within the practice. You will work alongside 3-4 other Senior Veterinary Surgeons per day and you will be required to participate in mentoring the less experienced Veterinary Surgeons in Surgical and Medical cases.
