The Practice:
Arden House was established in 1946 and we are lucky to have lovely long standing clients and staff. We have two branch surgeries as well as our main site in Ruislip. The practice offers a friendly and supportive working environment equipped to work up both medical and surgical cases.

Main hospital is located in Ruislip with branch clinics based in Greenford and Harefield.

We are ideally located a few minutes walk from the tube so getting into Central London is easy and convenient.

The Role:
Due to an increased work load we are looking to expand our team with the addition of both a full and part-time capable vet with a minimum of 2 years UK (or equivalent) experience in practice. We have 7 vets (some part time) so this role would suit someone who is confident to manage their own cases, but who also enjoys being part of a team sharing knowledge and experience. We are a busy hospital and there is plenty of scope to see and follow through a range of medical and surgical cases. As an independent practice we are able to treat everyone as an individual and encourage clinical freedom.

Successful candidate:
The successful candidate will be a capable vet confident in all routine surgery and medical cases. We have vets with different interests, and we would be happy to support someone wishing to work towards a certificate. We are looking for someone with great communication skills  - both with clients and the rest of the team. 

We do have two branch surgeries, so for the full time position a car driver would be ideal. 

The Package:

• 4 days per week with a share of long weekends off
• 1:5 weekend / Saturday Rota
• No on call
• Part-time role - we can be flexible on hours / days and no full weekends required
