Purpose:
YUSA 2 staff support the full time staff in enhancing the student athlete and therapist experience and supporting a high performance team environment within the Sport Injury Clinic. The Varsity Sport Injury Clinic Administrator under the direction of the manager, is responsible for the data entry of injuries, scheduling of concussion follow ups and general clinical administration responsibilities for the Sport Injury Clinic. This position requires commitment and adherence to the values and principles of Athletics & Recreation as expressed in the mandate of the department.
Education:
University degree/College diploma preferred.
Experience:
Working knowledge of OUA and CIS and varsity sport experience is an asset. This position requires knowledge of regulations and industry standards relating to a high performance Varsity Athletics program competing within the OUA and CIS.
Skills:
The Varsity Sport Injury Clinic Administrator must be able to communicate to peers, coaches and student athletes. good communication skill and leadership is a must. Competency in use of Microsoft Word (formatting, typing, spelling, grammar), Excel (creating spreadsheets, formulas, multi-tab functioning) and Presagia (clinic's injury tracking program)
