Reporting directly to Market Manager, the Utility is a multi-faceted role that will respond to the changing needs of the territory and is responsible for:

maintaining the territories yard(s), facility, assets and inventory (Plant);

filling propane cylinders;

offloading propane from tank cars; and

coordinating and completing general administrative duties.

Key Accountabilities:

Repair, test, evacuate, fill and paint cylinders and tanks. Conduct propane quality tests practicing safe work habits.

Maintain a clean and orderly yard ensuring that tanks and inventory are organized. Perform regular maintenance to the facility to minimize repairs and associated expenses ensuring it is maintained, cleaned and presents a professional image and is a safe work place.

Manage and control inventory, ensuring assets are accurately logged into or inventory within

Manage and coordinate any administrative paperwork and documentation as needed.

Conduct and maintain the highest standard of safety in all activities and operations ensuring compliance with the regulatory bodies and relevant regulations.

Submit hours worked, including overtime purchase orders, on a timely basis bi-weekly for approval.

Provide exceptional customer service by promoting the company and its products and services positively and maintaining good customer relations. Seek and capitalize on sales opportunities as they arise.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

High School completion

Appropriate Class 5 or 3 provincial driver’s license with and a clean driver abstract.

Strong customer service skills.

Computer skills for inventory management

Physically capable of lifting heavy objects on a regular basis.

Mechanically inclined and a hands on person.
