Full job description
Qualifications include:
Minimum Grade 12 education.
Recent experience as a Unit Clerk in the Family Birthing Centre or other clerical experience.
Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic mathematical/numerical skills and experience ordering supplies.
Polite & efficient telephone manner.
Knowledge of medical terminology required.
Computer experience required, Intermediate level skills in MS Word and Excel.
Proven ability to work independently and show initiative.
Demonstrated ability to prioritize.
Able to work well under pressure & co-operate with all Health Centre staff and patients.
Satisfactory attendance record.
