The opportunity

We have a 12 month fixed term role of Assistant Underwriter providing technical support and/or policy administration for new business and renewals. Key elements of the role will include:

• Provide support and assistance to the underwriting of new business and renewals in accordance with the organization’s policy and underwriting guidelines
• Develop good working relationships with all internal customers and stakeholders
• Processing insurance quotations, new business, endorsement and renewals where required
• Identify and escalate queries / risks to the relevant business partner
• Maintain data in relevant computer systems and other databases

Your story so far

You enjoy working collaboratively in a team, managing different stakeholders and with strong attention to details and accuracy. You will have:

• Experience in the insurance industry
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to manage ambiguity and a diverse range of duties
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
