Description

Robert Half is hiring for a UI Designer for a long-term contract in Toronto. The UI Designer is able to illustrate design ideas through storyboards, process flows and sitemaps to to deliver informed, and engaging sites and products. The UI Designer will be working remotely but will be expected to go on site in the future.

Responsibilities:

• Develop user scenarios, user flows, design concepts, low and high-fidelity wireframes and prototypes, UI standards documents, and other design documents as needed
• Applying industry best practices in both UI and UX to design wireframes, mockups, and workflows with a focus on user experience.
• Gathering and evaluating user requirements. Illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. 
• Conduct stakeholder and user interviews
• Present findings, design concepts, and rationale internally and to clients
• Work within internal processes for design, development, and review

Requirements

• 3-4 years of UX/UI experience in a fast-paced environment
• Experienced in user flows, wireframing, prototyping and responsive interface design
• Experience with a wide range of design tools (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, Sketch, InVision, and/or Axure)
• Experience with responsive web design to create applications that automatically conform to multiple screen sizes/devices
