About the team
The Regional and Outer Metropolitan division is focused on understanding the particular needs of regional communities across NSW and delivering customer-centred integrated transport services and infrastructure.
The opportunity
Right now, we have a permanent full time opportunity for a Truck Driver HR Gang to join ourRegional Maintenance and Construction team based in Beresfield, NSW. We are seeking those that reside within a 100km radius from the Beresfield depot as you will be on call when required
You’ll be required to carry out certain duties including but not limited to:
competently operate trucks primarily designed for the haulage of fuel, bulk materials and fitted with hydraulic tipping gear
Towing any trailers that their vehicle is rated to tow
Operate a HIAB or similar truck mounted crane
roadwork/bridge work duties as required
In addition to the position’s primary duties the Truck Driver (HR Gang) also performs any of the duties of a Road Worker Grade 3, as and when required.

About you
We are looking for an experienced Truck Driver who has the capability to work under limited supervision and has experience in maintaining a safe and injury free work place for all employees while operating in a high speed, high traffic volume environment.
You have sound experience operating HIAB or similar truck mounted cranes and experience undertaking physical labouring duties. You’ll also hold:
White Card
HR Driver License
Traffic control certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
Experience and understanding of local road networks across the district
You take pride in your ability to effectively communicate with other workers and members of public and are dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.
You’re prepared to work outside regular working hours (day and night works when required), attend after hour call-outs, and prepared to travel extensively throughout the state and work at locations away from the base station including camping away from home when needed.
Holding a Mobile Crane Non Slewing (CN), Slewing Mobile Crane (C2 or C6), is highly desirable
experience in operating plant (loader, bobcat, pad foot smooth drum) is advantageous but not essential.
Wage and Benefits
The wage for this position is Truck Driver MR Gang Grade ($1,342.60) per week plus superannuation.
