Job Description
We are expanding our team and are looking for new team members to join our crew. The work is physically demanding and involves planting of native trees across rural sites, undertaking large scale environmental restoration and revegetation projects.
To work in this role you will need to be:
- Physically fit and mentally strong. The work is physically demanding, and a positive mindset is needed to keep on pushing when the hills get steep and the going gets tough.
- Interested in NZ environment and keen to play your part in protecting and enhancing it. The jobs we do are making a positive change to our local environment, if you want to part of the change you will be rewarded with real job satisfaction.
- Personable and able to fit in with a team of diverse individuals. A good day at work is all about the people, so you will need to be able to hold your own in a fun team environment. We are a hardworking crew so you will need put in a good effort to earn the respect and camaraderie of your team mates
- Self motivated and able to work independently. Your part of a team, but you will need to motivate yourself and set your own work goals.
- We are a Drug Free work place, so you will need to pass a pre employment test and agree to ongoing random testing.
- Willingness to work away from home, staying away with team mates often in Auckland's beautiful Regional Parks. ( note we have approx 6-8wks for away work between May-Sept)
- Drivers license and access to reliable vehicle - unfortunately there is no public transport options in our part of Auckland.
