The opportunity
We have a rare opportunity for a passionate Travel Consultant to join our Service Experience and Planning team as Travel Services Officer at Newcastle. This is a truly exciting opportunity to be part of a high performing contact centre team delivering travel services to our internal and external customers.
What you will be involved in:
Inbound & outbound customer service via phone & email
Group travel for NSW TrainLink
Ticketing/refund support for NSW TrainLink
Booking travel for internal/external customers
This is a full-time rotating shift work position. Current hours of operation are 0745 -1845 Monday to Saturday, 0945 - 1745 Sundays.
You will work approximately two weekend days each month. Availability to work Public Holidays is a must. Your working roster is available at least 2 weeks in advance.
About you
You’re an organised and motivated Travel Consultant with a real passion for customer service looking for an opportunity to get involved in Regional NSW. You enjoy working in a team envrionment and can prioritise your workload whilst meeting tight deadlines. To be successful in this role, you must have some travel industry experience previously working as a Travel Agent and experience with the use of a computerised reservations system like Amadeus.

Salary and Benefits
The salary for this position is RC3 - $74,115 to $82,402 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading.
