We are looking for an ex MC operator with Transport Supervisor experience to join our Resources and Industrial business in Dalby. Either based in Dalby or you will have the option to  mobilise yourself to site for this 15 on, 13 off roster, with accommodation and vehicle provided for the duration. This role is responsible for ensuring the product is despatched in a timely and cost-effective manner,  coordinating and supervising up to 15 drivers, liaising with the customer and other internal stakeholders.

As the Scheduler, you will:

  • Coordinate infield movements providing team leadership and first point of contact for the customer.
  • Assist with the scheduling the Toll Transport fleet for the next day and communicating the next day’s plan to the transport team at the pre-start.
  • Review the training and skill gap analysis & assist with the development of a training plan for all drivers engaged in D&C operations and customer staff.
  • Monitor compliance with drivers and coordinate repairs.
  • Conduct safety talks and ensure all incidents are logged into TRAC.
  • Be responsible for gathering and compiling billing data.
  • Liaising with wellsite reps for client in weekly meeting with all site leadership meetings.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in transport and leading teams.
  • Understand relevant Legislation i.e. Road Transport Act and Load Restraint Guideline, and oversee transport operations to achieve safe, productive results.
  • Product knowledge, ideally with experience in the CSG gas industry, transport and logistics sector
  • Strong understanding, compliance and commitment to health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and regulations.
  • Basic understanding of Company organisation structures and associated reporting lines.
  • Knowledge of Company Procedures.
