Prior experience using ‘Route Planner’ is highly regarded.

 

Selection Criteria:

• Demonstrated experience within Logistics operations highly regarded
• Understanding of different vehicle types (i.e. B-doubles or rigid vehicles)
• Experience with the ‘Route Planner’ software highly regarded
• Ability to problem solve and present productive solutions
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Demonstrated experience in data and information analysis
• Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; particularly Excel, Word and Outlook

Role Responsibilities:

• Support the Transportation Management team
• Utilise vehicle routing software ‘Route Planner’ and associated applications to carry out orders
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders for effective planning and execution
• Ensure efficient flow of incoming and outgoing stakeholder correspondence and information
• Monitor and respond to any changes, issues and queries
• Troubleshoot and resolve changes and/or problems to ensure smooth execution of transport plans
• Use initiative to control, manage and continually improve the quality and efficiency of work
• Present recommendations to relevant stakeholders

• Ensure the efficient processing of information/data and support across all job functions
