Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Transport Operations Supervisor to join our Global Logistics – Resources Division based in Spotswood. Working roster will be 7 days on, 7 days off, 7 nights on, 7 nights off and 12 hours rotating shifts.

As the Transport Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing the evening activities of Toll drivers and ensure KPI’s are met. The Supervisor will perform regular audits and nightly checks to ensure safety is paramount, along with a focus on cost-effectiveness and time efficiency. Additionally, you will promote a positive, safety focused and inclusive team culture.

As the Transport Operations Supervisor, you will:

• Manage operational activities of the driving group across 4 major fuels contracts.
• Review driver schedules, conduct KPI reporting, and audits as required.
• Regularly liaise with customer schedulers and customer point of contacts to determine best solutions.
• Ensure maintenance of equipment are up to date as per service scheduler. 
• Promote a positive safety culture and be actively involved in Toolbox Meetings.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• Previous supervisor experience within the Transport and Logistics industry.
• Prioritization skills and the ability to meet multiple deadlines within a fast-paced work environment.
• Analytical skills: Problem solving, data analysis and critical thinking.
• Outstanding communication skills – Written and verbal.
• The ability to work autonomously and within a team environment.
• Computer literacy: MS Office Suite – Intermediate skills.
