We are seeking a logistics and supply chain operations individual, looking for a backend Monday to Friday role working at Tolls QLD Control Tower for our Mining, Oil and Gas business unit. This role calls for prior operational management knowledge as well as strong computer skills.

The control tower team are at the centre of a well organised and efficient logistics operations and our Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Organising  International and domestic bookings with all modes of transport – Rail, Air, Sea, Road utilising multiple computer systems.
  • Managing service providers and suppliers.
  • Providing professional and prompt customer service.
  • Managing Invoicing and purchase orders with a inhouse accounts system.
  • Providing operational reporting with Excel spreadsheets.
  • Managing Sub-Contractors and working closely with infield operations.
  • Load marshalling on an adhoc basis predominately at the Port of Brisbane.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and fatigue management as it pertains to the Transport industry, specifically including dangerous goods.
  • Knowledge and experience working with Sea, air, road, rail, heavy haulage and DG operations.
  • Strong customer service orientation – excellent understanding and strong curiosity about our customers and what adds value to them.
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills including advanced Excel and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
