About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to join NZBS in a newly created role on the Technical Services Senior Leadership Team with accountability to define and develop the training strategy for the Technical Services operational teams and to lead the team of Training and Development Coordinators in the successful delivery of training to ensure competencies are maintained. This role will have responsibility for overseeing the design, development and delivery of learning content and programmes across NZBS's laboratory teams.
About you
To be successful in securing this role you will need to have proven experience (minimum of 5 years) developing and delivering effective training in an adult learning, technically focussed and regulated environment. You need to have a relevant tertiary qualification, ideally with demonstrated ability and experience in planning and developing e-learning materials and assessment tools within a Learning Management System.
You will need highly developed and effective organisational, people management and leadership skills and have the ability to negotiate mutually beneficial outcomes. You need to have a demonstrated ability to work autonomously under pressure and to operate as part of a senior team.
Experience within NZBS, or a similar technical environment would be advantageous.
