We are currently inviting applications for a Training Advisor to join our ESS team in our Palmerston North Office, who will help us empower our people to create a sustainable future.  In this role you will be responsible for delivering on people development initiatives that will ensure employees have the skills, and knowledge required to support delivery of the organisation's and Sector's vision and goals.  The role will provide professional, proactive service delivering L&D solutions across the ESS business, delivering demonstrable return on investment.

Ko o kawenga / Your responsibilities:

• Contribute to the analysis, design, development and implementation of learning programmes, projects and initiatives that support our people strategy.
• Confidently facilitate classroom & online training and workshops up to leadership team level;
• Enhancement of the learning & development framework including a ESS training calendar and further promotion of training opportunities
• Identify training gaps in the business and design development programmes aligned to the ESS business goals and development needs, in collaboration with key stakeholders as appropriate.

He kōrero mōu / About you:

• Previous experience as a learning and development specialist in a similar role, understanding the full L&D cycle.
• Experience in driving and embedding training initiatives, competency frameworks and learning frameworks in a performance drive organisation.
• Experience in facilitating classroom training and workshops.
• Ability to coach and mentor others from grass routs to business leaders.
• Experience in moderating training for consistency and standards.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and high level of computer literacy and communication skills
