The Trainee Management Accountant will provide support across the Finance team. This team is responsible for applying appropriate financial controls relative to risk across the Retail Group; providing decision support through P&L management, forecasting and budgeting; managing and maintaining the Harrods Group fixed assets register; monitoring, managing and reporting on the balance sheet of the Retail Group and the cash position of the Harrods Group.

This role will provide general support across the Finance team and, specifically, to the Fixed Assets Accountant.

About You

You will have prior experience in an accounting (preferably management accounting) role and are at a stage where you are ready to undertake an ACCA or CIMA qualification. We are looking for an enthusiastic team player with excellent communication skills, and a willingness to challenge processes and costs incurred. Strong time-management skills and the ability to multi-task are key requirements of the role. Strong PC literacy, particularly Excel, is necessary.
