In this position, you will:

  • Be willing and capable of carrying and handling firearms and other use of force intervention options.

To qualify for this position, you will:

  • Be required to complete physical/medical assessments which includes passing the Police Officers Physical Assessment Training (POPAT) in a time of 4:15 or less;
  • Possess a valid Canadian driver’s license (a Certified Drivers Abstract will be requested at a later date);
  • Possess a valid First Aid Certificate including AED that must be valid to July 2023 or beyond; and
