Who we need

Reporting to the SVP, Human Resources, we are looking for a Total Rewards & Workforce Analytics Specialist to join our global team. In this new role, you will make an impact as you develop and implement compensation, benefits and workforce analytics practices and processes. In addition, you will conduct market research, manage and analyze data, evaluate compensation, conduct surveys, and build strategies and systems.

What’s in it for you

Global impact and influence. You want a Canadian-based role driving global strategies in Total Rewards and workplace analytics. This is an opportunity to lead, influence, and continually improve the Total Rewards for Array employees around the world. It’s a chance to take ownership of analyzing and growing our international compensation and benefits plans.

Empowerment. You will collaborate with and be mentored by the Director of HR and the SVP, HR, who foster a supportive and rewarding environment. You will have the autonomy to make decisions and be trusted to do your job well. With a new CEO leading our organization, the work you do will align directly with the company vision to prioritize investing in Talent as a direct way to excel commercially in the world markets. This is a pivotal role with true leadership opportunity and the chance to build out a Centre of Excellence.

You will focus on:

Total Rewards. You will:

Identify, build, and execute various total rewards initiatives through a rigorous assessment of data, trends and program cost/benefit analysis.

Evaluate jobs to determine the job level and classification (exempt/non-exempt), and maintain a comprehensive job evaluation system for the organization.

Benchmark jobs against survey data and other market intelligence to determine competitive pay ranges for the positions.

Provide analytical support and subsequent recommendations to local client-facing HR and Talent Acquisition on compensation-related events (e.g., hiring, promotions, transfers, demotions etc.).

Prepare and present job and total rewards analysis requested by the business.

Gather data from market-based surveys and assess market trends

Support the annual compensation cycles, including the execution of salary reviews and bonus programs

Manage the salary structure in the US and Canada to ensure alignment with market practices

Lead the integration of total compensation plans – base, bonus, sales incentive, etc. to provide both employees and the business with holistic perspectives on compensation and associated market competitiveness

Review and analysis of corporate bonus structure and sales incentive plans and provide recommendations for change

Develop and document total rewards procedures to streamline processes and ensure regulatory compliance

Guide and train HR and leaders on total rewards processes and enforce compliance to the process

Analyze market competitiveness of benefits and retirement savings programs, build any business cases for program changes and lead implementation of changes

Support administration and execution of global relocations and international assignments.

Build the Total Rewards Centre of Excellence function – process, systems, etc.

Workforce Analytics. You will:

Create global HR reporting standards and build processes to support HR analytics reporting.

Produce monthly, quarterly and annual HR dashboard with lagging and leading indicators on workforce trends, with deep analytics and insights.

Lead the development of a standard book of employee records for Array, which will support a global HRIS implementation

Support development of total rewards processes and implementation of Total Rewards module within HRIS.

You have:

The education and experience. You have a degree in Finance, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field. You have 3 years in Total Rewards or Compensation, building and executing programs and policies. You have a comprehensive understanding of - and insights related to scaling - compensation and benefits. You are well-versed in related legislative rules and regulations (e.g., Employment Standards, Pay Equity Legislation) in Canada and the United States. You can maintain a high level of integrity in handling confidential and sensitive information. You have in-depth knowledge of the compensation cycles, including salary administration, surveys, market analysis, structure development, and incentive design.

The technical skills. You have intermediate to advanced Excel skills; proficiency with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint; intermediate knowledge of an HRIS (ADP WFN would be beneficial). Ideally, you have experience implementing an HRIS.

The interpersonal skills. You can build trusting relationships with internal stakeholders to work collaboratively and influence without authority. You have flexible and effective communication skills, and you are comfortable initiating meetings and calls to gather information and understand needs. You are client-focused with keen attention to detail and the ability to translate requirements into action.

The innovative problem-solving skills. You have a highly analytical approach to developing recommendations, collecting, extracting, analyzing, and manipulating large data sets. You can provide both commercial and creative solutions to local total reward requirements. You can work under tight deadlines and understand the downstream and long-term effects of your work and accuracy.

The accountability and collaboration. You bring a balance of strategic planning and immediate action and can apply a big picture lens in a small team environment. You take ownership of your work and its impact on the organization. You can seamlessly adapt to changes in priorities, the business, or the industry. You have the confidence to take new ideas forward and to work closely with executive leaders, acting as a subject matter and discipline expert.
