Seeking part time certified marine skippers for our fishing charter operation around the Far North and to the Three Kings Islands. This could lead to a full time position, however it is initially part time/casual. Our current crew are very experienced with the boat and fishing up there, therefore the main requirement from you is an appropriate Certification, Safety and great people skills. We target Marlin, Tuna, Mahimahi, Kingfish, Bass, Hapuka, Trevally, and Snapper as per customer's preferences.

Trip lengths are from 6 hours to 5 nights.

We currently have vacancies for skipper work from Whangaroa in April and May 2022. There will certainly be plenty of opportunities for the future.

Skipper in Auckland area: Seeking part time maritime skippers in and close to Auckland with tickets suitable for beyond the 12nm limit and within restricted coastal to skipper a white pointer which is 9.4m over-all. This could lead to a full time position but it is initially part time/casual. We have a crew that are very experienced with the fishing up there so the main requirement from you is an appropriate certification, safety and a friendly manner. Skipper in the Bay Of Plenty. Seeking part time/casual MNZ certified maritime skippers in in the Bay Of Plenty (Tauranga would be ideal) from May to January We will have at least one boat down there for the Bluefin Tuna run so we seeking skippers to assist with that and other easier 6 hour charters in Tauranga. We are likely to operate in the BOP (Mainly Tauranga) from May through to January so we would welcome any skippers keen for work over that period.

Comprehensive fishing experience, a willing friendly can do attitude, being ready to work hard and always having safety in mind and the appropriate certification are all important parts of this job. That will include less demanding corporate 6 hour charters which may suit your circumstances better.
