Primark Technology is about to embark on a transformation journey to support business strategy which includes modernising our operating model as well as technology architecture and Cyber Security posture. This role is key in building and improving Primark’s Cyber Security Posture.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Reviewing and assessing vulnerability management scan results and advise on suitable remediation and prioritisation
Develop / refine policies and processes related to threat and vulnerability management aligned with industry good practice requirements
Responsible for ensuring optimisation with configuration of vulnerability management tools
Attend vulnerability and patch management meetings / working groups and driving / monitoring progress against agreed KPI’s for vulnerability and patch management
Provide advice and guidance to infrastructure and application teams in relation to the required remediation for vulnerabilities
Report on vulnerability management progress, status and KPI’s
Respond to / Advise on solutions to mitigate vulnerabilities / security threats and the organisation’s ability to protect itself
Support asset discovery exercises and work with Technology teams to ensure that an accurate list of assets within the organisation is maintained
Knowledge & Experience:
8+ years proven experience working with focus of vulnerability management in a hybrid (on-prem & cloud-centric), fast-moving organisation
Experienced in maturing vulnerability management programs in complex/legacy environments.
Experience planning, prioritising and organising work in all required areas to meet requirements
Demonstrate experience and in-depth knowledge assessing vulnerability scan results and advising on remediation / providing guidance to Technology teams in patching and solutions to mitigate security threats, delivering improvement/optimisation
An appropriate degree, equivalent qualification or experience
A recognised security certification is desirable e.g. CISM, CISA, CISSP or CRISC

Possesses the ability to reach logical conclusions to situations by appropriately analysing the situation. Balances the benefits, risks and consequences of actions
