Global financial company seeks veteran project manager to work with various stakeholders on end-to-end highly visible banking software initiatives. Must have banking experience in order to work on large scale enterprise initiatives. Will engage with several stakeholders in an Agile/SAFE environment and contribute on all phases of the software development life cycle and API development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Lead individual components of a complex client facing implementation requiring development, operating model changes, and implementation work across different business areas.

Ensure solutions meet customer requirements; develop and manage detailed planning.

Ensure governance, planning and tracking is in place to successfully deliver project objectives.

Monitor project costs against budget and manage third party providers.

Maintain project logs including risks and issues, assumptions and decisions – managing escalating as appropriate.

Report on project progress internally and communicate appropriately with all stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience in project management and the delivery of banking/financial projects.

Knowledge of the Payments Gateway market desired.

Applied technical understanding and ability to apply logical thinking.

Ability to build excellent relationships in a collaborative way both internally and externally.

Understanding of the development lifecycle.

Previous consulting background desirable.
