About this role
The purpose of the role Technical Product Owner – Secure Authentication is to provide technology expertise to drive the delivery of outcomes as well as coach and lead of a team of Software Engineers. The role is focused on best practices, technology, and delivering business value through high quality software.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Coordinate a team composed of technical practitioners to plan and design converged technology solutions, providing technical expertise to support
Oversee and guide the design of infrastructure, software or networks, ensuring a continuous team focus on quality and customer needs
Review team outputs to confirm adherence to quality standards and alignment to customer requirements, providing validation and sign-off on designs
Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance team’s ways of working, operations and processes
Resolve technical issues raised by the team and/or customer and manages escalations as required
Deliver software solutions that provide business value and meet customer requirements, including necessary designs, documentation, automated testing, deployment and in-life support
Develop the lifecycle approach selection and limited tailoring, i.e. within a broader programme, or unit approach and practices. Delivering the appropriate level of production and in-life release support to ensure production issues are resolved in a timely and effective manner
Drive reuse of technology to ensure efficiency and improve velocity
Manage resource allocation, work prioritisation and budgets. Driving business performance, efficiency and continuous improvement within the team. Accountable for meeting the TLR / TLC plan
Deliver organisational health outcomes across the team, including coaching and team development
Provide a technical direction and impacts of technical and commercial decisions on wider software lifecycle
You'll have the following skills & experience
Experience in being accountable and able to deliver agreed TLR/TLC plans and maintain spend within budget
Experience in change management in order to deliver change successfully, ensure it is embedded and maintained
Experience managing major data migrations and infrastructure
Knowledge/experience with Azure AD B2C or SiteMinder instances
Familiar/experience with migration to Azure solutions from existing applications and implementing of brand new experiences
Familiar with multi tenancy and cloud based infra implementation
Understanding and knowledge of the Adoption strategies
Knowledge of security practices and implementation – e.g. defensive coding, app security, threat detection
Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills, problem solving skills and learning attitude
Agile development environment experience and running/participation of agile ceremonies (in particular Scrum framework)
SAFE development environment experience
Experience working in a scaling partner environment and a federated engagement model
