The streaming of video and audio content and the number of supporting devices is growing rapidly.  Our challenge, working with our partners, is to integrate BBC streaming services and continue to innovate as the TV industry rapidly evolves and expands.

Our teams ensure that everyone in the UK has access to our high-quality iPlayer, Sounds, and Red Button services on the widest choice of devices supported by any streaming content provider.

The Technical Product Manager, iPlayer Partner Experience is responsible for evolving the partner tools used by global manufacturers and partners to enable BBC iPlayer and Sounds and Interactive services on TV devices.  These include automated testing tools and partner-facing communication and scheduling tools.

This role requires a good technical understanding of web technologies as key responsibilities include ownership of bespoke testing tools used by partners to verify compatibility with BBC iPlayer, BBC Sounds and Interactive TV Services on TV Devices (includes streaming sticks, set-top boxes, games consoles and Smart TVs).
