Nectar360’s vision is to be the most powerful insight and data-led media services agency in the country, creating valuable relationships between the UK’s favourite brands and their customers. Digital is a key and growing part of the Nectar360 business, receiving substantial investment to develop and take to market a digital media buying platform – the Digital Trading Platform (DTP). Through its powerful data assets Nectar360 targets, optimises and measures display, social and TV campaigns. This capability is hugely sought-after by FMCG and Nectar360 clients
This role is key to the growth of the Digital Media business as it owns the technical partnerships & relationships that make the Digital Media business both functional and profitable.
The Technical Partner Manager will be responsible for leading integrations and partnerships with external media companies and technology providers. You will develop and grow relationships with external partners (advertisers, agencies and 3rd party solution providers) and their developer teams and gain a strong understanding of their business, product, and strategy.
What You Need to Do:
In this role you will need to cover multiple facets of our partnerships – this includes technical solutions, contracts, Data Protection approvals and payments. The partners fall into two categories; media partners (Google, Facebook and Sky) to deliver the channels needed and data partners, including LiveRamp, Teavaro and others.
Media Partners:
- Display and social channels: Manage relationships at all levels from tech to commercial. This will include rolling out new channels and tech solutions - including renegotiating contracts, liaising with tech and commercial teams.
- Addressable TV: i) Evolving the proposition with Sky, working with commercial teams to bring in new revenue; and ii) launching new propositions from a Nectar360 perspective, drawing on Partner Solutions, Analytics, IT teams as required.
- Both: Support in selling – delivering collateral, training and attending pitch meetings.
Data Partners:
- Work with numerous tech vendors, including our CDP provider, to improve our proposition. Focus on increasing the volume of targetable Nectar customers in the digital space.
- Work with other vendors who allow our data to be surfaced with various marketing partners for Audience and Measurement capabilities.
- Business Development: Be proactive in creating new opportunities through partnerships and building a business case, getting approval and ultimately delivering the new opportunities.
- Legal: Set up the necessary agreements and drive through to signature, with support from the Digital Commercial Director
- Data Protection: Customer data protection is critical; you will need to liaise with our Data Protection Office and Data Clinic to ensure any new propositions are aligned with guidelines.
What You Need to Know and Show:
- Strong understanding of upcoming industry changes, keeping the rest of the team in the know and understanding how such changes affect our propositions. Focussing on post third party cookies and the proposed solutions in particular
- Demonstrable experience of establishing and growing technology partnerships
- Proven experience in Digital Media space with strong, provable technical / data knowledge across a broad spectrum of media, including display, social media, video, TV and OOH
- Strong organisational skills to launch new propositions and deliver consistently
- Strong interpersonal skills: you will be building relationships and working with many teams across the business.
