What will you be doing?

As Technical Manager you will implement continuous improvement projects, improve site availability, monitor performance and generate reports, and compliance with industry safety standards.

• Compliance with all Veolia and Health & Safety policies and procedures
• Manage the technical team
• Ensure all RAMS and other site documentation are up to date and regularly reviewed
• Site monitoring and performance improvement. Trending & report writing
• Drive the improvement of the preventive maintenance strategy
• Improve existing operational SOP's
• Liaise with engineering contractors
• Chemical management
• Prioritisation of urgent (short term) and long term (important) work to provide both quick solutions and long term improvements
• Some out of hours support
• Ability to be contacted, and attend site, outside normal hours occasionally when required

What are we looking for?

Essential

• Extensive experience within a technical field
• Project management skills
• Excellent people management skills
• Excellent computer literacy / communication skills
• Full clean driving licence

Desirable:

• Degree or HND in an engineering discipline
• Work experience within a technical field, energy facility, water treatment or process sectors
