Large privately owned NZ organisation that operates in the financial services industry looking for a seasoned Technical Business Analyst

The Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, you will be the key driver behind the analysis and integration of a significant data migration project. Seen as critical to the successful delivery of the project, the Technical Business Analyst will develop architectural documentation, solve integrations problems, and translate business requirements into technical specifications and configuration documents.

Duties

• Complete interface analysis, integration specifications, data translations, and data mapping necessitated by the planned changes to core systems.
• Gather requirements and produce documentation i.e., epics, features, stories, prototypes, specifications, wireframes, proposals.
• Perform system and database analysis, gather requirements, and acceptance criteria
• Solve complex integration problems and develop this into usable solutions for the business, engineers, and developers.
• Translate information and data into usable detail for engineers and developers.

Skills & Experience

• Strong experience in performing a dual role of integration solutions and business analysis
• Solid skills in data mapping, data translation, impact identification, process design, and documentation.
• Experience with large databases and working knowledge of SQL
• Understanding of APIs
• Able to work with a wide range of stakeholders in a complex financial environment.
• Banking, finance, credit lending, or payment experience essential.
