The Opportunity

This role is responsible for leading a team of Caseworkers and support staff to make a real difference in the delivery of quality culturally appropriate, strengths based, trauma informed, collaborative case work services.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure programs are managed so that they meet funding and performance requirements, ethical and professional standards, as well as community and stakeholder expectations
• Be responsible for ensuring that team members have the necessary resources and capability to deliver culturally appropriate, holistic, high quality work.
• Ensure adherence to legislative requirements for Permanency and ensure the implementation of such requirements, policies and procedures.
• Lead a team of case managers and support workers : performance management, quality approval, L&D and quality assurance

About You

As a proven leader, you will possess:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in the social sciences or equivalent sector experience
• A minimum of 3 or more years field experience in the social and community services sector
• Minimum of 2 years' experience leading a team
• Demonstrated ability to work within risk management frameworks including oversighting risk assessments and safety plans for vulnerable children and young people
