The Hawthorns was acquired by The Salvation Army in 1935 and has been used as a residential home since then. It is situated opposite the beautiful Pavilion Gardens and within walking distance from most local amenities including shops and a doctor’s surgery.

Working in a residential care home for older people, you will help each resident enjoy the highest possible quality of life. Leading a team of Care Assistants, you will create and review care plans, administer medication and ensure that the home delivers an excellent person-centred approach.

As Team Leader (Care Worker) can you?

• Help each resident enjoy the highest possible quality of life, surrounded by love, friendship and support within a Christian environment
• Ensure the Home delivers excellent person-centred care
• Provide leadership to the care assistants within your team

As Team Leader (Care Worker) do you have you experience of?

• Person-centred care for older people including those living with dementia
• The administration of medication
• Creating and reviewing care plans
• End of life care
• An appropriate Social Care or Nursing Qualification achieved equivalent to or working towards NVQ 3 / equivalent QCF award.
