Make an impact with our Tax team as a Tax Consultant (Contract).

As an integral part of the team, you will assist clients with compliance and reporting requirements, minimize risk, drive efficiencies and maximize returns.

Our client is a Professional Services firm in downtown Toronto seeking a Tax Consultant (6-month contract). Highly flexible work environment, 100% remote, work-from-home.

The Tax Consultant will be assisting the client with tax compliance work.

• Prepare Canadian corporate tax returns for residents and non-residents
• Prepare Canadian personal tax returns for residents and citizens
• Partnership returns for Canadian entities
• Tax planning for individuals and corporations
• Dealing with CRA on information requests

Requirements

• Completion of a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or Masters of Taxation
• Completion of Level 1 & 2 of the In-Depth Tax Program is an asset
• 5+ years of relevant work experience in public accounting and/or tax consulting
• Extensive knowledge of and experience working in Tax
• Experience working with accounting and tax software such as Caseware, Profile, Quickbooks and Simply Accounting
