A Tax Preparer position is looking to be filled by Robert Half located in the Toronto, Ontario area. Your responsibilities

- Assemble and invoice for form preparation fees

- Touch base with clients to gather relevant information/documents

- Manually enter correct data into Tax software application

- Formulate transaction tax returns manually utilizing various methods (Paper, E File, EDI Upload) with various government agencies

- Provide customer service to incoming client calls to facilitate tax questions and set appointments

- Bring to fruition other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned

Requirements

- Proficient with spreadsheets and databases

- Experience with high volume data entry

- Capable of working independently with minimal oversight

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or finance preferred

- Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

- Sound written and verbal communication skills

- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
