About this role
Are you able to tell a story with data within Talent? Do you hold analytical expertise that can bring to life a cross-section of Talent data points and articulate them into tangible action? Attracting and retaining diverse Talent is critical to BT’s current and future success. We need you to support leaders to identify current and potential talent; develop our future technical experts and leaders and drive a high-performance culture that delivers beyond limits.
Having a strong background in Talent & Performance, you will know the impact data analysis can have in the continuous improvement of our talent practices. You’ll consider our programmes, attrition, workforce planning alongside D&I to ensure we are producing metrics we can make strong strategical decisions from.
Collaboration with a range of stakeholders will give you a diverse insight to how our Talent and Performance Management Strategy is built, and you’ll be surrounded by a fantastic team passionate about that journey. Based from our Three Snowhill office in Birmingham, please ensure your CV and experience highlights your analytical capability to influence talent strategy – this is critical to the success of the role.
You'll have the following responsibilities
Use data analysis and insight into Talent and Performance Management metrics to drive better decision making; going beyond historical data and looking for predicative analytics
Make recommendations for impactful Talent development making best use of BT-wide solutions and other opportunities e.g. BT’s community programmes
Train and coach HRBPs to deliver better Talent and Performance Management outcomes at all levels of BT
Collaborate and work across HR to deliver and become trusted delivery partners with Customer Facing Units, Internal communications and other BT Centre of Excellences.
Assist with the design and delivery of the Talent and Performance Management Strategy, process and toolkits that enable a world-class approach
You'll have the following skills & experience
Talent and performance management analytics, expert in Excel
Building strong narratives that link talent and performance activities to business requirements
Deep subject matter expertise in the fields of talent and performance management
Design and delivery of Talent Development activities
Demonstrable knowledge of interlocks between other areas of HR e.g. Leadership, Learning, D&I etc. and Talent/Performance Management
