We have an exciting opportunity in our Christchurch Head Office for a Systems Engineer (Pre and Post Sales), to join a small but inclusive Systems Engineering team.

Experience Level Required

You will have relevant understanding and experience related to the design and/or verification of coverage in LMR networks, including the use of applicable tools.

Given the nature and complexity of our industry and the diversity of customer needs we address, you will need broad experience specifying and designing solutions across multiple technology areas and have depth in one or more of the following :

• RF systems, frequency planning, site design
• RF coverage
• Transmission and linking systems
• Wireless and wired networks (LMR, cellular, microwave, data)
• System availability, reliability analysis
• Traffic and capacity modelling
• IT systems, equipment, and security
• Power and grounding systems

Will have

• An Engineering degree/diploma/certificate in a related field or the equivalent work experience.
• At least 3-5 years in a mobile communications system or project engineering role.
