Role Purpose
The EMEA Retail Investment Properties Team represents CBRE’s clients on some of the region’s most prestigious retail transactions. Working in close collaboration with our in-country teams, we aim to deliver the highest standards of output and consistency across Europe. The team has strong relationships with retail investors throughout the region and plays an integral role in unlocking investment product. The team has a high level of technical ability and experience within the sector, this allows us to bring leadership to investment transaction processes no matter the location or sub-sector.
This position is for a transaction oriented individual to work in the EMEA Retail Investment Properties Team. The recruit will become an integral part of the team from the outset and will need to have a strong understanding of investment fundamentals and be able to make a meaningful contribution from day one, including on the execution of ongoing transactions, pitching and providing investment consultancy services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities
• Supporting the team in the execution of retail investment transactions around Europe
• Creating marketing and pitch materials
• Cash flowing and other financial analysis of investments
• Performance analysis of investment opportunities
• Collating market intelligence
• Compiling client-facing presentations
• Report writing
• Developing a strong internal and external network of stakeholders and clients
Person Specification/Requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Real Estate or equivalent
• Previous experience in analysing cash flow models
• Previous experience of real estate investment transactions
• Good numeracy, analytical and cash flow modelling skills
• A strong grasp of written and spoken English
• Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
• Accurate with exceptional attention to detail
• Good IT skills
• Ambitious with good commercial acumen
• Excellent presentation skills
• A collaborative team player, with an openness and ability to work across a variety of business cultures
• Willingness and ability to travel
• A second language is not necessary for the role
