We are currently seeking a self-motivated Support Services Administrator to join the team in Rotorua.  This is a new role within the company working 25 Hours Monday to Friday.  The overall focus of this position is to provide quality administration support primarily to HR, Support Services and the wider team with a focus on recruitment and supply procurement.

  • Be well presented in both appearance and attitude. 
  • Most importantly - providing good old-fashioned ‘Service’ and a ‘Can Do Attitude’.

Some key tasks include:

  • Supporting HR with recruitment duties for the Ecological Restoration Operations.
  • General administration as required.
  • Oversee  the purchasing for the company, by developing purchasing guidelines for the offices, establishing relationships with supply vendors, and ensuring that all purchasing procedures are being followed.

 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, and you will need to be professional and driven to succeed. Flexibility and adaptability will be the key to your success in this role, along with a positive attitude, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service to a range of internal customers, applicants, suppliers and colleagues.

What you need:

  • Previous recruitment experience.
  • Experience and/or ability to manage supplier/customer relationships, commercial contracts and products.
  • Experience in contract administration would be an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel. The ability to create meaningful pivot tables of relevant information and create general worksheet formulas would be advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other professional staff.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal staff.
  • Able to work under pressure to complete multiple tasks, so an ability to manage time and workload is essential.
  • A full drivers licence and the ability to drive a manual transmission.
  • H&S awareness.
