The Opportunity:

We have an exciting opportunity to join our busy Auckland Supply Chain team providing a service to the wider Azelis business in the areas of: Order Management, Management of costs, Forecasting, Planning and Stock Control

Accurate data management and effective communication are key requirements to becoming a valued member of the team.  We operate a hybrid working model so we need to be in-touch and up-to-speed with all inventory requirements.

Main Accountabilities Include:

  • Order Management by way of
    Purchasing (creation, placing, follow up)    
    Payments (prepayment, letter of credit
    Receipt
    Costing 
  • Supply Chain Planning (optimizes planning for product supply, done in conjunction with relevant Industry Managers)
  • Management of Sea and Air Freight orders
  • Working with nominated Freight Forwarders for customs clearance and delivery
  • MRP (Material Requirement Planning) & Sales Forecast management
  • Maintaining data accuracy within AX and CRM
  • Provide accurate and timely order shipment costings
  • Coordinating with local and foreign suppliers
  • Management of ageing and expired stock
  • Claim management and resolution
  • Managing detention and demurrage

This role is based on Auckland's North Shore and reports directly to the Supply Chain Supervisor.

To be considered for this role you will require:

  • Relevant Tertiary qualification or Senior secondary
  • Proficient in Windows Suite including Excel to Intermediate, AX and CRM experience preferred.
  • Detail oriented and organized
  • Fluent in English
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Delivery of qualitative and reliable output
  • Hands-on mentality and proactive attitude
  • Easily adapt to changing environment and responsibilities based upon organizational needs
