Supply Chain Business Partner

Location: Newbury (Full-time remote working during COVID-19)
Salary: Competitive plus bonus

What will you be doing? 

 

As a Supply Chain Business Partner - Networks at Vodafone you will be assigned to internal stakeholder groups and responsible for building strong relationships across several functions. You will be an ambassador of the Supply Chain, creating credibility and driving commercial value and operational excellence. You'll be looking after Networks however we're flexible on the depth of experience in this category.

 

Who are we looking for? 

 

An individual with overall Business Partnering experience who can demonstrate a robust understanding of Vodafone by identifying and prioritising stakeholders. The ability to build and sustain relationships to drive increased business performance and best value outcomes.

 

  • Governance Management – Managing the end-to-end governance frameworks of key SCM deliverables to ensure objectives and initiatives are effectively monitored. 
  • Project & Programme Management - Using the right frameworks and approaches to manage projects and relationships to drive excellence and control costs, in either small-scale or complex enterprise-wide initiatives
  • Procurement Negotiation - Ability to support centrally led complex and high-value negotiations. Leading local tactical negotiations by applying creative models, leveraging various cost programs and using various behavioural techniques to achieve the best commercial outcome for Vodafone.
  • Category Management - A clear understanding of local industry trends, economic, financial and market dynamics as well as commercial models and demonstrates business foresight to contribute to global category strategy and/or enable the delivery of effective sourcing activities.
  • Commercial Contract Management - Protects Vodafone's interests by developing commercial contracts based on a thorough understanding of legal and ethical environments. Managing contract-related KPI and ensure minimal value leakage.
