We are excited to announce we are recruiting a Supply Chain Analyst to join our Head Office in Watford.
The successful candidate will be accountable for managing the end to end supply of a specific group of products, from the supplier through to the stores, whilst optimising availability and stock holding at all points in the supply chain
Key Accountabilities:
To deliver the right stock to the right stores at the right time within budget by using the systems to create sales and demand forecasts to manage the replenishment of stores and distributions centres (DC’s).
Represent Supply Chain interests when working cross functionally with the Buying, Marketing and Store Operations teams, in order to deliver the company sales, promotion, and stock holding strategies.
To act as the Supply Chain Representative in the Range Review process, ensuring seamless changeover whilst optimising availability of new lines and ensuring the value of deleted stock falls within the agreed budget.
To plan inbound supply in line with the DC capacity constraints and to collaborate effectively with the DC teams to ensure that any risks are highlighted and managed effectively.
To ensure that all Purchase Orders are placed within the agreed supplier lead times. Manage and update overdue PO’s to ensure data accuracy for forward planning purposes.
To develop and maintain an effective working relationship with suppliers. To maintain the appropriate level of communication with suppliers including conference calls, meetings and to ensure appropriate levels of joint planning are undertaken to secure ongoing supply of product.
To work with and monitor the supply base to ensure compliance against KPI’s and agreed targets.
To communicate effectively with all stakeholders, including Buying, Marketing, IW and Operations on all product supply matters, including the timely maintenance and production of reports, trackers and updates.
What are we looking for:
Graduate calibre
Min 2 years in supply planning and of managing successful cross functional relationships
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Advanced Excel skills
Ability to report and present accurate information to show business impact and make first stage recommendations based on this information
End to end planning processes
Basic knowledge of distribution operations
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Able to persuasively support his/her position with analysis, facts and arguments
