Job Description
This is an 18-24 month contract for a recent graduate in our Power Tools division, located at our head office in Mississauga, ON. A hybrid work environment is available.
- This role is responsible for supporting the demand planning team for the Power Tools division in Canada. This includes supporting all demand planning activities in order to ensure high customer service levels with optimal inventory levels.
- Work in conjunction with Demand Planners in Mississauga and Demand Planners in the US to prioritize/expedite inventory where possible
- Identify unexpected variations in demand trends and work with Demand Planners and Sales to revise forecasts as needed to maintain customer service levels.
- Manage monthly CPFR meetings with Key Customers and Account Managers.
- Maintain backorder tracking process to ensure all parties involved have the most up to date information
- Continuously identify and develop areas for improvement related to the forecasting process
- Perform trend analysis to report inconsistencies with forecasts and actual sales
- Create and maintain performance metrics comparing forecasts to actual sales
- Communicate and cooperate within a cross-functional environment
- Be proactive in establishing relationships with Key Customers and counterparts in Supply Planning, Marketing, Sales, Customer Service, Accounting, and other Departments.

Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Business, Operations or Supply Chain Management preferred
- Must have graduated in the last 6 months
- Highly analytical and detail oriented
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
- Continuous improvement and change management mindset
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook)
- Previous SAP experience preferred
