We have a fantastic opportunity for a Civil Supervisor to join our Civil Northern team.

The role is responsible for general operational areas of work across a wide range of civil projects including day-to-day responsibility for safety, quality and environmental compliance for a range of projects including water infrastructure, roading/pavements, public open spaces and general civil infrastructure with a focus on utilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Effectively lead site teams and ensure compliance to strict health and safety standards
• Contribute to the planning of a project to ensure delivery on time and within budget
• Ensure plant, labour and materials are utilised on site effectively and efficiently to deliver tasks
• Ensure best practice in operational delivery, health and safety, environmental and quality assurance on site
• Using your extensive industry experience, motivate and inspire staff to strive for the best outcome on projects
• Work effectively with wider HEB teams to utilise specialist skills and knowledge available across the company
• Represent HEB in a professional and knowledgeable manner to when interacting with clients, engineers and key stakeholders

About you:

• Experience working across a wide range of civil works, i.e. drainage, roading, earthworks, and concrete works
• 5 years' supervisory experience in civil construction
• Strong relationship building and communication skills
• A great team player with the ability to motivate and lead teams on site
• Ability to plan tasks efficiently, including allocation of plant and labour resources and materials
• Class 1 license is essential, Class 2 with WTR is desirable
