Position Summary:




Come and join our management team leading operational employees in a fast paced time sensitive environment. Supporting individual’s development and growth and building your own career within the business.

Main responsibilities:
•    Ensure the effective performance of the shift in line with depot targets 
•    Ensure that goods on hand levels are kept to a minimum and all consignments are dealt with within 24-hours
•    Ensure that high levels of internal and external customer care are maintained by the shift 
•    Produce relevant reports as required by the depot
•    Effectively communicate to all team members, e.g. shift briefings
•    Ensure that all HASAWA Legislation/Security Procedures are adhered to and that good housekeeping is maintained
•    Carry out any other relevant duties as requested by the Line Manager to ensure the effective performance of the Operation.
•    Partake in any developmental training as required in compliance with the Company’s commitment to the Investor in People Standard
•    Manage, train and develop in line with the Investor in People Standard thereby ensuring all employees within the team are trained and developed in accordance with their job role and business requirement
•    Develop staff for succession through coaching, delegation and feedback
•    Responsible for promoting a professional image of the Company and for complying with the Company’s Equal Opportunities and Harassment Policies at all times, including work related events which take place outside normal working hours
•    Comply with all relevant Health, Safety and Security Regulations 
•    Read and comply with Company rules, procedures, agreements and any notices displayed by the Company throughout your location
•    Seek continuous improvement through ongoing quality initiatives in line with the EFQM Business Excellence Model.

In return we offer:

Salary: Â£33,000 per annum.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week.
Shifts: Wednesday to Sunday 04.00am to 12.30pm
