Position Description:
The role of the Student Services Administration Co-ordinator is a key member of the administration team and ensures timely and competent completion of all administrative tasks to ensure that the student journey runs smoothly. This role requires a friendly demeanour for customer interaction and the desire to provide quality service.
Responsibilities:
Assist and support all new and current students with a range of enquiries
Assist if required with reception duties, including mail, greeting visitors and deliveries
Create and enter accurate and complete student records of enrolment and files follow up on enrolment documentation.
Adhere to EmployEase enrolment procedures ensuring all student files are compliant and complete prior to course completion
To work within regulatory and legislative requirements as outlined in Employ-Ease Staff Handbook
Issuing of Certificates and Statements of Attainment per AQF requirements
Provide students with access to LMS (Learner Management System) & Zoom.
Processing student course and class transfers
Student enrolment cancellations
Processing and receipting of student fee payments and reconciliation of payments
Creation of participant groups, allocation of trainers and classes to the online campus
Assist the Administration department with any general administration tasks, as directed by the Administration Manager
The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:
Bright and friendly demeanour, with a willingness to assist with all enquiries
A strong desire to provide outstanding customer service and support to students and staff at all times
Strong data entry, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word skills
Ability to multi-task on a daily basis and the ability to prioritise competing tasks
Confident communication – both written and verbal, customer service, interpersonal, time management and organisational skills
Enjoy working within a strong, supportive team environment
The ability to relate to people from a diverse range of backgrounds and cultures
Good problem-solving skills
Highly desired:
Education sector experience
Experience with VETtrak or similar student management systems.
Experience with Zoom
Experience with Canvas or similar LMS.
