We’re a growing metal fabricating business, specialising in the full spectrum of fabrication discipline, and are now seeking positions in the following -

• A motivated and experienced steel fabricator / welder to join our dynamic team in Dunedin.

The successful applicant will have a can-do attitude, with proven experience in structural steel fabrication. To succeed, you will need to bring with you a trade qualification in heavy/light fabrication or 2+ years proven structural steel fabrication skills and knowledge, with high-quality welding, and attention to detail and accuracy.

Key Skills & Experience Required:

• High quality MIG & Arc welding experience with the ability to pass a welding test.
• Ability to read & interpret drawings.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Punctual and motivated
• Ability to work unsupervised
• A team player
• Full New Zealand driver’s license
• Trade qualification or 2+ years industry knowledge and experience in structural steel fabrication.

In return, we will offer the successful candidates a rewarding & Challenging work environment, with exceptional remuneration. Ongoing training and development. Working 10-hour days on Monday to Thursday, the successful applicant can enjoy Friday’s off. With optional overtime work on the Friday (paid at time & half rate) as required to meet customer deadlines.

This is a role that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from General engineering, Structural steel in both domestic and commercial projects and Earthquake strengthening.
